My story

Calm, Affectionate, Mellow Please give a hearty Austin "hello" to Kitty Softpaws, an adorable tortie girl eager to find her furever home! Kitty Softpaws is a recent mom who - now that she's got her kittens all sorted - is ready to embrace the carefree life of a young cat. She is not a big fan of playtime and would rather just relax. Sometimes that means she will snuggle next to you for some quality cuddle time and sometimes it means she just wants to chill out on her own. She truly is the purrfect blend of independent and affectionate. Be prepared to get greeted at the door every time you come home by a beautiful purring feline. But also be prepared for her to walk away when she feels that she has received sufficient attention. This is one kitty who is not chatty just to fill the silence. Kitty Softpaws knows how to strategically deploy her melodic meows. She'll let you know, nicely, when she wants pets or treats (or both!). You'll find her requests hard to deny as she is a total sweetheart. Kitty Softpaws has had a lot of different interactions with different critters during her time in foster care. She is great with kittens, having raised five herself. She also gets along well with small dogs. As in her purrsonality, she enjoys lounging with them for respites during the day as opposed to high energy antics. Finally, Kitty Softpaws is good with children.
