My story

Breed: Terrier / Yorkie mix Age: 5 yrs. Weight: 10 lbs. Good with dogs: yes Good with cats: unsure Good with kids: no Energy level: unsure Good with men/strangers: yes Hypoallergenic: no Special home requirements or medical: adult only home, needs another calm dog to teach him the ropes. Additional info: Lego is a sweet pup who needs somebody patient who will help him decompress, provide basic obedience training and a lot of affection to help him build his confidence. He was rescued from a hoarding situation where he was being kept with over 20 small dogs in an RV. He has not had structure or socialization in his young life. When his people are close, he's very content, quiet as a mouse and happy to snooze. He's a velcro dog and grows quickly attached to his people. He's very gentle and affectionate, and gets along well with his foster sibling. When he is not with his people, he is a barker and is generally very scared of new environments, people and dogs. Lego needs an adult only home with no kids and ideally a calm dog who can teach him the ropes. He doesn't have a big appetite yet, as he's still getting used to his foster home and having routines and structure. If you are not ready to adopt just yet and would like to help in other ways, please consider clicking on the green “Sponsor Me” button above to help this dog receive the best care we can give.
