You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Cupcake is as sweet as icing and ready to show you love and devotion. This petite little girl made her way into this world at 5:05 pm New Year’s Day, born to Ophelia with her 6 siblings, Danish, Caramel, Truffle (boys) and Hazel, Strudel, and Chiffon (girls). These babies are being raised with exposure to kitties and to adult Pyrs. They are so smart and learning fun things like following their mama out the dog door, pulling her tail, playing with all the toys, and going outside for potties! Cupcake has a calm, laid-back personality and would probably do great with children. She loves to play and run with her siblings, take a nap, have a snack, and repeat! Cupcake will need a 5-foot secure fenced yard, and a canine brother or parents who are home more often than not to help her navigate the world. She is very people focused, ready to soak up all your family has to offer. This precious love-bug will be ready for her new family just in time to welcome the warm weather and all that comes with it—apply today! National Great Pyrenees Rescue (NGPR) has been rescuing and adopting out Great Pyrenees since 2006. Our relationship doesn’t end with adoption, as we continue to support adopters throughout the lifetime of their dog. Our goal is to assess every application on its own merits. Key considerations are: 1) the experience of the applicant with large breed dogs 2) children in the household or regularly visiting the household are ready for a large-breed dog who is a guardian by nature and 3) the sex of other dogs currently residing in the household to avoid same-sex aggression issues. For puppies under six months old, the applicant’s ability to socialize the puppy with older dogs is a priority. February 25, 2025, 4:59 pm
