My story

Chief is a big-hearted goofball with a love for adventure (and stuffed toys)! Chief’s story started on the side of the road with nothing but a giant bag of dog food—and a whole lot of hope. Lucky for him, a kind rescuer spotted him and pulled over. Chief, thrilled to see a friendly face, hopped right into the car and never looked back! Now safe and thriving, Chief is a strong, happy boy who’s full of life and love. He’s got a big personality and doesn’t quite realize how strong he is, so a home with older kids would be best (unless your toddlers like to be playfully bowled over). He absolutely LOVES stuffed toys—he’ll sit oh-so-politely to get one… and then joyfully destroy it in under five minutes. Rinse and repeat. It’s his favorite sport! Chief knows how to sit and will flash you a charming smile when waiting for treats. He gets along with other dogs, but he prefers more easy-going, submissive buddies—alpha vibes aren't really his thing. He’s also an adventure pup at heart and would thrive with an active family who enjoys walks, hikes, and all things outdoors. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a goofy grin, zoomie energy, and a heart of gold, Chief might just be your perfect match! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $450 (includes transport to your area)
