Prowl

My story

Let me introduce you to this 2 year old, 60lb, gorgeous pit mix named Prowl. Yes, from the Autobot litter born on 5/15/2022 at #MutzMaterutyWard.  If you missed out back then, you now have a second chance!  Through no fault of her own she is back with SAAP, however she did come back in a terrified condition.  She will need a special adopter to understand and take things very slow and allow her to come out of her shell at her own pace.  If she has a dog friend that is introduced to again on her own timetable, she will open up and show you part of true colors.  Once you she is out of shell she is so much fun and truly enjoys being a dog and playing with her dog friends in the backyard. She has been with me for several weeks and she occasionally comes to me outside for love and pets, however in the house it is easiest to chin scratches in.  When someone new comes over she freezes and completely reverts to a terrified dog.  She needs some confidence training to help overcome this fear so that she can hopefully be a socialized dog again.
