My story

Are you an athlete, runner, hiker, or outdoor enthusiast looking for the ultimate companion? April is your girl! She’s ready to be your energetic sidekick on every adventure. April is a 1-year-old German Shorthaired Pointer mix weighing in at about 60 pounds ~ pure muscle, pure heart, and pure fun. She’s always up for a game of tug-of-war, and her toy collection is her pride and joy. April is both house-trained and crate-trained, and she’s a quick learner. She’d thrive in an active home with someone who understands high-energy breeds and can give her the physical and mental stimulation she craves. She’d also love a canine sibling to romp around with! However, April is not a fan of cats and definitely has her eye on the birds above ~ classic pointer instincts! One quirk to know: April is a bit of a fence climber. A wooden privacy fence or a home with another playful dog to keep her busy will help her stay grounded and happy. April has all the makings of a loyal, loving, and lively family dog ~ as long as she gets the exercise and guidance she needs.
