My story

Meet Meeka, a sweet 55-pound senior girl with a heart full of love and just the right mix of pep and chill. While she still enjoys short walks and little bursts of play, Meeka is happiest when she’s curled up next to her humans for a cozy nap or snuggle session. She’s cat-friendly and enjoys a calm home, but can be a bit selective with her dog friends—so we make sure to do proper introductions at meet and greets to find her perfect match. Meeka is the perfect companion for someone looking for a mellow, affectionate dog who still has a little sparkle in her step.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas.
