My story

Nicky is a gentle sweetheart with a heart of gold. This lovely girl is starting to come out of her shell and discover the joy of playtime, but she’s just as happy to hang out and relax by your side—especially if there’s a sunny spot or a cozy blanket involved!She gets along wonderfully with dogs of all ages and is doing great with her house training, especially when kept on a routine. Nicky may need a little time to warm up in new environments, but once she feels safe, her affectionate and easygoing personality shines through.She’s a treat-lover, a quiet companion, and is learning more every day (she’s already mastered `sit` and waiting for mealtime!). Nicky does well in her kennel, and even when left out, she’s shown no signs of being destructive—though she’s still figuring out what’s a toy and what isn’t.If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who just wants a soft place to land and a little patience, Nicky might be your perfect match!Nicky is currently in foster care outside of the shelter.
