My story

Meet Sulley! Introducing the Monsters, Inc. litter, a group of playful, lovable, and totally adorable husky mix puppies named after your favorite characters from the beloved movie. These little loveable “scare” experts are ready to bring joy, laughter, and plenty of puppy kisses into your life. But be warned—once you meet them, your heart will be monstrously full! Sulley has an unknown but traumatic past. He absolutely loves other dogs, but is nervous and timid around new people. Sadly, we believe that Sulley experienced some human inflicted abuse as a young puppy. He has grown and made so much progress thanks to his dedicated, patient foster. Sulley is still working through his fears, building confidence, learning how to be a dog in a loving home, and socializing with humans. Once he warms up, Sulley will be your shadow and best friend. He absolutely loves other dogs and takes cues from those around him. He loves to explore his surroundings, run and play, and play keep away with toys. Sulley is also an elite sleeper, enjoying naps throughout the day and resting peacefully by himself. He is very observant and can often be found watching his fosters do everyday tasks, taking it all in. Sulley a smart guy who already knows many basic commands like "sit", "come", "no", and "Sulley." He is working on potty training, wearing a collar, leash training, and crate training. He is also working on trusting humans and being confident in himself. Sulley's ideal home is one that is safe, consistent, calm, and without children. He is still learning and thus needs a home with another dog who is confident, playful, and well-mannered. Ideally, Sulley will live in a home where someone works from home or spends a more time at home than away from home. He does do well independently for several hours. Adoption is $325, which includes spay/neuter at our vet when age appropriate, vaccines to date of adoption, dewormer, microchip, and clean bill of health.
