The playful spirit of the group! When we first met Ollie, he was one of the more calm and laid-back kittens, but over time, he's adopted some of the cautiousness his brother Simon has. These two are inseparable, and Ollie often follows Simon’s lead—whether it’s eating, playing, or exploring the house. Ollie is definitely the most playful of the three, but only when he feels like he’s in a safe space—if he catches you looking at him, he’ll shy away! While Ollie loves to play, he’s still not quite as fond of being petted as his siblings. Given his difficult past, he will need lots of positive reinforcement and consistent love to help him feel safe and comfortable. Ollie is also food motivated, so we've been working on getting him used to being touched while he eats, which has helped him become more relaxed with human contact. His favorite toy is the scratch post, where he can really let loose and have fun. If I had to describe him in three words, they’d be playful-ish, timid, and sensitive. Ollie will thrive in a calm, low-stimulation home where he has the time and space to build trust with his new environment. Like his brother, Ollie needs a patient adopter who understands that he comes from a challenging background, but with time, he’ll become the sweet, loving cat he’s meant to be.
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Ollie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
