My story

Abandoned on the day of love is not acceptable. Leticia arrived on Valentine's Day in the cold of winter. She shook from the chilly temps but warmed up with the help of a few snacks. She is both apprehensive and smoochy. Leticia has excellent manners and let us take all sorts of beauty shots. She really wants to close and cuddled plus have full access to the treats stash. Western Ave. Chicago, IL *The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. *All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. *Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
