My story

Boyd is the real-life Garfield you’ve been dreaming of! This big orange tabby has a heart as big as his belly and is looking for a loving home to call his own. After a long day of making biscuits and meowing about the drama of the day, Boyd is ready to curl up next to you for a well-earned nap. Found on the Piqua Kitty Trail—a sadly common dumping ground for unwanted cats—Boyd is a true homebody who’s had enough of the streets. What he wants now is someone to love him and help him shed a few pounds along the way. He needs a home with an adopter committed to guiding him on his weight loss journey with compassion (and maybe a few toys and slow feeder bowls). No personal space? No problem—Boyd will just scooch in beside you like he was always there. Boyd is FHV+ (feline herpesvirus positive), a common, manageable condition in cats. It doesn’t affect his lifespan or loving nature but means he may have occasional mild flare-ups, especially under stress.
