My story

🐾 ADOPT US – Holly & Donner 🐾 💘 Bonded Chihuahua Mix Pair | Ready for Their Forever Home 💘 Holly and Donner have blossomed so much in foster care! This adorable bonded pair recently came out to a large public event (SharkCon!) and rocked it — happily dressed up, mingled with other dogs, met tons of new people (including kids!), and soaked up all the attention. They’ve come such a long way from where they started. Back in December, a Good Samaritan found them and their five tiny puppies abandoned in a vacant lot on a freezing night. Thankfully, they all made it safely to the shelter — and soon after, into the loving arms of rescue. Holly is a sweet and snuggly girl who loves to cuddle and be close to her people. Donner is affectionate too, with a playful side, and is incredibly loyal to his family. While Donner is still protective at home and should be secured when new people visit, he does great out in public and can be introduced safely with supervision and structure. He’s not aggressive without reason — he just takes his role as family protector a little too seriously sometimes! 🐶 Both get along well with other dogs and may coexist with cats who aren’t easily bothered (though they might give chase if a cat runs). 🩺 Donner has completed heartworm treatment. ✅ Both are fixed, vaccinated, and microchipped. They’re hoping to find a forever family together — one that will appreciate their big personalities, deep bond, and the love they’re so ready to share.
