My story

Meet Veviana! This beautiful 1-year-old girl came to us from Broward County after raising a litter of pups at far too young an age. Now that her mom duties are behind her, Veviana is ready to focus on herself—and find a home where she can be loved, cherished, and allowed to truly be a dog. Veviana is a sweet, playful girl with a soft heart and a gentle spirit. She’s naturally curious and affectionate, and once she warms up to you, her tail rarely stops wagging. That said, she can be shy or unsure around certain people, especially in new situations. Because of this, we’re not quite sure how she would do in a home with children, and she may be best suited to a quieter household with patient, understanding adults who can give her the time she needs to build trust. She has a moderate to high energy level, and loves to romp around and explore—so a home with a fenced yard would be ideal to help her burn off energy and build confidence in a safe space. Veviana is dog-friendly and enjoys the company of other respectful pups. A well-matched canine friend might even help her come further out of her shell! Still young herself, Veviana is figuring out what it means to be cared for and to just have fun. She’s silly, sweet, and full of potential—and with a little patience and a lot of love, she’s going to blossom into an amazing companion.
