My story

First things first - Ahi Tuna is super handsome! A stunning big boy! Was waiting patiently in his kennel for his turn to go out. He is a fetch champ! We found 2 rubber toys that could withstand the mud and he was off and running! He will drop one toy next to you or near you if you have another to throw. This guy seems like he's up for any adventure. He greeted another dog through the fence very nicely & came back over when called. Overall Ahi Tuna is a solid dog! Western Ave. Chicago, IL *The building is open 12-7 daily and adoptions end one hour before closing. All visitors 18 and older must have a government issued ID. *All household members should be present to meet dogs (especially those under 18 and any decision-makers). We recommend and can arrange dog to dog meet and greets for your current dog to meet a potential dog sibling at the shelter. You will need to show proof of up to date rabies vaccination for your dog or dogs. *Slow, cautious, and appropriate introductions are recommended after you allow time for decompression for the shelter dog.
