My story

Romeo is a 6 year old, male, long coat German shepherd who is very loyal and loving. He's had excellent training since he was adopted at 1 year old, so he is well behaved and intelligent, but often silly! He loves to always be close to his humans and will contentedly snooze in a corner until it’s play time. His favorite activities include chasing his ball, playing tug-of-war, chewing on new crunchy/squeaky toys, and playing with water/hoses (or snow!). He loves meeting new people! He will happily follow guests around and always be as close as possible for scratches and play. (He will even try to sleep outside their door rather than in his usual bed) He has solid obedience training and is well behaved at home with no chewing, accidents or counter surfing habits. as a working dog, he needs daily exercise and mental stimulation. His new home will need to be one with consistent play/exercise. Preferably no cats as I prefer dogs over cats. His best friend with previous home is a female yellow Labrador who is 3 years old and grew up with him. Sadly his previous owners got relocated for work and decided he wouldn’t be happy with less attentiveness because of the new work schedule. If you feel a dog that loves to work, play, and exercise is a great fit- apply for Romeo today! He's truly stunning with a wonderful personality!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Romeo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
