My story

Cupcake is the sweetest girl! She came to us from a Pedigreed Ragdoll Cattery whose owner asked for our help to find homes for some of her gorgeous adult Ragdolls. Cupcake came into rescue scared and standoffish but she has learned to trust her foster mom. Cupcake is called a tri color Ragdoll and she is a very petite little thing. She is camera shy, so her pictures really don't do her justice. Her eyes are a beautiful expressive blue Cupcake is a loving, good natured, playful girl. She has discovered springs are the greatest toys. In fact, she loves them so much she will fetch and retrieve back to you so you can toss it again! She loves being petted and brushed and doesn't mind being picked up. No doubt she is going to be the perfect lap kitty and bed buddy. She likes other cats and would probably be fine with children middle ages and up. I don't know how she is with dogs. I expect she has never seen one. What she wants most is a human or humans who are home a lot. Do you work from home or are you retired so you have time to be her best friend? She would love that. Ragdolls are emotional, sensitive kitties that do best in happy, quiet, peaceful homes. Cupcake's sister and brother have been adopted and the updates from the adopters have been glowing. They are doing great health wise and socially as well. Very playful and loving and sleeping with their new family. Cupcake will follow suit and is ready for her forever home too. Cupcake is spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. She currently lives with her foster family in West Sacramento. This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
