My story

Meet Sparky! This handsome 7-pound grey and white domestic shorthair is a sweet and curious boy with a gentle heart. Sparky gets along well with other cats and enjoys their company. He appreciates a calm environment where he can feel safe, but once he’s comfortable, he’ll happily seek out gentle pets and quiet companionship. Whether he’s lounging in a cozy spot or watching the world go by from a sunny window, he brings warmth and quiet charm to any home. If you’re looking for a kind-hearted kitty who just needs a little patience to shine, Sparky is ready to meet you! Meet and greet/adoption appointments are highly recommended to ensure the animal you are interested in is currently at the shelter. Please call or e-mail the shelter to set up an appointment to meet and adopt! DON'T FORGET! Cats often do better with a friend! All our cats and kittens have an "Adopt one and the 2nd at half the adoption fee!" bonus!!! Our kitten/cat adoption fees vary on age, special needs, lonely heart status (cats that have been with us 6+ months), and for our senior to seniors program. Our adoption fees include the following: all of our cats/kittens are current on vaccinations (FVRCP series and Rabies if over 3 months of age) at the point of adoption, dewormed, tested for Feline Leukemia (FeLV) and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV), treated for fleas/ticks/earmites in addition to being spayed or neutered once the cat reaches 2 lbs in weight. All cats and kittens adopted from the shelter are microchipped. Adoption fees may vary in special circumstances. Because we are on a busy street, we require that all cats leaving the shelter be in a carrier. All pets are up for adoption until an approved application is processed and their adoption fee is paid.
