My story

Hi there! My name is Nala! I am a 1 year old German Shepherd female that weighs around 50 Lbs. I was recently surrendered to the shelter due to my family no longer being able to care for me. So now I am available for adoption and hoping to find my furever family soon. I am social, love toys, and know a few basic commands. I am learning to strut my stuff on a leash and am looking for a family that has the patience to help me become the most well behaved girl I can be! If you have another dog in the home, it's best to do a meet and greet to ensure we get along before you decide to take me home. My adoption fee is $125. I am spayed, microchipped, current rabies vaccination, and my boosters are to date. I did test heartworm positive but thanks to Rockwall PAWS, I will be able to receive treatment at little to no cost to my adopter. If you have questions over my treatment or heartworms please ask a RAC staff member. They are happy to answer any questions you may have. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
