My story

Located in NJ - meet Hissy!! If you are an experienced cat person and really want to make a big difference in a cats world, please consider this girl. She was trapped recently and thoroughly vetted. She wants to understand what's happening but has no clue. Her running mates are now both adopted, Smoosh and Purry, but she is scared and needs a very slow, gentle approach in small steps. We really don't want to have release her in this weather without her friends. For now she's comfortable and eating well in her cage. Her comfort spots are in a carrier as her bed and on a shelf in cage. She is not ready to be handled and still needs to decompress. Hissy because she will tell you she's uncomfortable but is a very neat girl using her litter pan and allows you in to straighten up. She's an older gal of about 8 and deserves a life of comfort and patience to blossom. For this reason a foster or adopter must live within half hour of Keansburg so we can assist as needed.
