My story

Futon, the itty bitty choco-chi, isn’t just happy to be alive. This little perma-wag snuggle hunter is positively thrilled. So many laps, cuddles, and pets on hand! He comes in hot, all barely 5 pounds of him, leaning into every scritch. Undeterred by a bit of vision impairment, this youthful sweetie boy is full of energy and goodwill toward everybody, including fellow canines. Also: Very portable. Pick him up and take him home! You supply the TLC; Futon will turn your world right side up. Here's some notes from his foster: This little gentleman has been so sweet and cuddly. We took a couple of walks around the neighborhood today, and he was ok greeting passing dogs. He is great on the stairs and on the leash. I have not heard him cry or bark except when he is left alone. I kept him in the kitchen over night and when I had to go out in the afternoon. He made some yipping noise, but he settled down after a few minutes. He has not bothered my cat. He follows me around the house and likes nothing better than to burrow into a blanket on my lap. He is good in the car-good all around. He loves to walk and enjoy the beauty of the Bay on sunny spring days. He also likes to check out the local restaurant scene, where he makes friends wherever he goes with dogs and human!
