My story

Meet Star – Shy Sweetheart with a Heart Full of Hope (aka Starlight, StarStar, Starry Sky, Sweetie ) At just 1.5 years old, Star has already shown how resilient, gentle, and beautifully unique she is. This Heinz 57 mix (Pitbull, Samoyed, Aussie Cattle Dog, German Shepherd, Chow Chow) is the perfect blend of mystery, fluff, and grace—kind of like if Cate Blanchett’s Galadriel was a dog. Her JourneyFound abandoned as a puppy in Mexico, Star has spent the past few months learning that the world isn’t so scary. With time, patience, and love, she’s slowly beginning to trust and blossom. She’s gentle, non-destructive, and doesn’t bark. She’s also playful with her foster siblings and gives the softest kisses once she trusts you.
