My story

Hi there! I`m Wrigley — an 89-pound gentle giant with big paws, a big heart, and a love for the simple things in life. I`m about 6 years old, which means I’ve perfected the art of lounging. My foster family says I’m house and kennel trained, and I’ve got a pretty majestic gallop when I get the zoomies. They say I look like a miniature pony when I play!I get along well with medium to large dog friends, and I currently share my home with a 7-year-old and a 16-year-old. I might do best with older kids since I sometimes forget just how big I am. When I’m not playing with a stuffy (I love to toss them in the air!), you can find me in my favorite spot — the front window, watching the birds go by.If you’re looking for a loyal buddy with a chill vibe and a playful streak, I might just be your guy. Ask how to meet me!~~~~~The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events). You can meet our animals with the convenience of an appointment or as a walk-in. Appointments can be made by emailing adoption@wilco.org. Interested in fostering a dog in need? You can take one of our pups on an adventure for a few hours, giving them a much-needed break from the shelter while you enjoy some quality time. Program runs daily starting at noon.
