My story

You shall all bear witness to my talents, says Benedict. Well, if being brave in the shelter is the talent, consider him a liar. If being the bestest boy is the talent, Benedict is 100% right! Poor fella was picked up as a stray and found himself in a shelter. He was so terrified they had to keep him with the kittens to keep him from feeling faint. Since he was sprung out he has proven to be the best little guy!Benedict is DARLING! His foster momma says that he can still be "shy and nervous when you first meet him but it goes away in approximately five minutes and then he’s like the energizer bunny bounding into your lap and giving kisses!" He is not house trained at the moment, but his foster mom says that the are working towards it! For now he is wearing belly bands but he is still young and learning. Benedict LOVES other dogs and playing with them. That being said, he needs a companion who can handle his nosiness and playful spirit. Benedict will run up to any other dog saying, “HI! Hi! Hi hi hi!!! You wanna play? How about now?!?” His foster mom says Benedict has an "effervescent personality".This little guy's foster mom says the he would do best in an active to semi-active home. This includes daily walks, playing fetch, any kind of activity he would love! Benedict may do best with kids over 8-10, just simply because he can be a little mouthy, not biting, just lightly grabbing your hand with his mouth (something else his foster mom is working on). This is the case especially when you get him fired up and in a playful mood. This tiny boy, weighs in at just 5.3 pounds, but trust us...he is BIG in personality!
