My story

Andri is a 1 - 1/2 year old neutered male. He is current on his vaccinations, microchipped, and FIV/FeLV negative! Meet Andri! Andri is a shy guy who is simply looking for a loving home with a cat savvy family who understands that he will take some time to show his true personality in a new environment. Once he has had a chance to acclimate to his surroundings, he is a sweet kitty who enjoys slow, gentle pets from his favorite people. He is otherwise a typical goofy and energetic young man who enjoys spending his days exploring his surroundings, chasing around his toys, climbing up and down his cat tree, and hopping up into the windows to bird watch. Since Andri is a shy guy who startles easily from fast movements and loud noises he would prefer a calmer and quieter home. He would do best with a family with respectful older children at least 12 years of age or older who understand he may prefer his independence at times. He currently resides in a communal living area here at the shelter with several other kitties and is much more comfortable and confident with a buddy right by his side. So, he is required to go to a home with another feline friend. He may do ok with other respectful pets in the home given very slow introductions to one another and given he has his own 'safe' space to retreat to if he should feel the need.
