Layla

My story

Although Layla is a senior, she has some spunk in her yet! She’s adventurous, bold and expressive. Not a dull moment around Layla. Layla loves the people she knows and she desires to meet new people as well. Often she’s a bit nervous initially, and she likes to be approached on her own terms, because she’s the queen, but she’s sweet and affectionate when comfortable. She’s just one of those cats who has a limit for petting as she gets over-excited easily! No one has ever accused her of being “laid back,” per se. She’s an opinionated lady! Layla’s former person loved her. The only reason she came into the shelter was due to housing issues. Layla wants to be the only pet. She's affectionate, but likes to be in charge of when petting takes place. She’d love to have a close one-on-one relationship with her person. She's looking for an adult-only home (one with cat-savvy older teens might be okay).
