Fairfax Station, VA 22039. We can also schedule time to meet a specific dog at the Adoption Center during the week by appointment - just fill out the application and we will follow up with you! LOCATION: Adoption Center ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Adoption Center ADOPTION FEE: $475. This fee INCLUDES spay/neuter and microchip. **Ask me about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, training and other discounts! ESTIMATE WEIGHT FULL GROWN: 45 lbs KNOWN WITH DOGS: Daniel is good with other dogs. He hangs out with them in playgroups and occasionally follows after them when they play chase and wrestle. KNOWN WITH CATS: Daniel has not met a cat so we do not know. KNOWN WITH KIDS: We don't know how Daniel is with children, though he can be nervous around loud noises and sudden movements. KNOWN CUES: Daniel hasn't learned any tricks so far and would love your help to learn some. KNOWN HOUSEBREAKING AND/OR CRATING: Daniel feels safe in his crate and he walks into it nicely to watch the world around him. KNOWN LIKES: Sniffing, squeaky toys, people who move slowly with him. KNOWN DISLIKES: Sudden loud noises, people who don't work with him at his speed. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Daniel was surrendered twice to a rural shelter partner in Rockbridge, once with his siblings as a puppy and again recently when his owner was no longer able to take care of him due to health issues. It's no wonder he can be a little nervous when his life has been so unpredictable. Daniel want to find a family he can love and trust, who will move at his speed and help him feel confident in our suburban area. He promises to repay you with all the cuddles and puppy kisses he can give - once he feels a little more comfortable. Daniel was neutered before coming to Homeward Trails.
