My story

Alfie is a shy and gentle male Staffie mix, medium sized, who is well-behaved in the home, loves other dogs, and even gets along with cats! Alfie was really stressed in the shelter, so he`s now spending time in a foster home where he`s just adored by the family. Alfie is shy and takes a little time to warm up to new people, but once he gets to know you, he`ll be your best friend. He`s calm in the house, potty trained, sleeps well in his crate at night, and is generally just an easy dog to have around. His confidence is much better when he`s got a doggy friend at his side, so he`d do best in a home with another dog. He`s loving the companionship he`s getting from the female dog in his current foster home. Because he`s a little timid at times, he`d do best in a home without small children, and with an adopter that`ll take the time to build a loving bond with him. It`s easy to look at Alfie and think he`s just another `bully breed`, but he`s really a special, gentle, and affectionate boy who will be a wonderful family member in the right home. Potential adopters are welcome to talk with the foster family to learn more about Alfie.Alfie is currently in the Adoption Ambassador Foster Program.
