Meet Carson: The Former Flight Risk Turned Lovebug Found darting through the streets on Valentine’s Day, Carson wasn’t exactly in the mood for love. In fact, he was the definition of “no thank you, human.” Scared of everything, Carson made it his full-time job to avoid people like we were handing out bath time instead of treats.But oh, how the times have changed.Thanks to a dream team of patient staff and determined volunteers armed with snacks and soft voices, Carson slowly started to believe that maybe—just maybe—not all humans are bad. Fast forward a few weeks, and now he’s dishing out headbutts, tail twirls, and full-volume purrs.Now don’t get us wrong—he’s still not about that “being picked up” life. (Dignity matters, people.) But he will happily stroll up to you, lean in for some love, and demand pets like the purr machine he truly is. Rubs, scratches, cuddles on his terms—he’s all in.Carson’s journey from “stray on the run” to “sweetheart with a soft side” is proof that love really can find you—even if you’re hiding under a desk.Come meet Carson. He might not bring you flowers, but he’ll bring the purrs.
