My story

Hi! My name is Koda. I am a fun-loving sun-loving girl! I am a 1-year 3 mt-old 62 lb mix. I love to run around my yard and play tug and chew on my toys. My favorite thing is sunbathing in the backyard! And I do like water. I have a small pool I play around in when it gets really hot! & Like to play squirt with the hose!! I like to watch TV & listen to calming music! I just love my daily walks around my neighborhood and then at night I like to snuggle on a bed or couch with you until it's time to go in my crate to go to sleep, and I love to have that covered because then I feel really safe. I'm a very quiet girl when it comes time to go to bed! I have a good amount of energy and I love being very close to my humans. Sometimes even laying on their feet to chew my bones, or laying on the bathroom rug while they are showering & getting ready for the day! I live with a teenager and I love her but have not been around any small children other than seeing them on our neighborhood walks. I think I would probably be best paired with older children as I am a very strong girl. My family adopted me at 10 wks old & have taught me lots of tricks as I am very treat motivated! I can shake & rollover, & sit & take my treats nicely! Sometimes loud noises can scare me, but if you tell me it's okay that usually does the trick. I've heard storms outside & have no problems with them. Also, I'm not too sure about getting into cars yet so my daddy will usually put me in my kennel in the car so all is calm. And I'm not sure if I will be good paired with other female dogs or other dominant dogs. I may be best as your only furry best friend.
