My story

Are you looking for your furever mini, furry sidekick? Look no further than Butch! Butchie Boy is an 8 year old Chihuahua who came to us from a neglect situation with his three housemates (be sure to check out Snoopy, Dee Dee, and Honey too!). He was emaciated, flea ridden, with tons of fur loss - this little peanut weighed only 5lbs. Fast forward after lots of TLC, food, and a newly established Chihuahua wardrobe of sweaters, Butch has gained almost 2lbs, has been regrowing fur, and is ready for his furever home. Butch adores people and being held and snuggled. He is used to living with multiple other Chihuahuas, but is not a fan of shacking up with another male, so little female friends may be okay in his book. He is also older kid tested and approved! Butch will need help with continued housebreaking, but he is a smart, food motivated boy that is eager to learn! For more information about Butch, please contact Tracey at tracey.d@poainc.org
