My story

Meet Sourdough! Sourdough is around 2 years old, about 50 lbs and a world class snuggler. He had a terrible first 2 years of life and lived outside in a crate until a dog advocate reached out to Saving Hope. Since being in his foster home he has learned that humans can be pretty amazing and he has blossomed quickly. He has learned how to walk on the leash, learned to only potty outside and loves his crate. He is still timid of little kids so older kids are recommended. He absolutely loves his dog beds and the couch and snuggling with his foster mom. He is more on the submissive side and will listen when is told no. He likes dogs of all sizes and both male and females. He has not met a cat yet so unsure about that. He is very food motivated and due to being starved he has to be fed with a slow feeder. He has been neutered and receive all his vaccines. He is extremely sweet, silly, loving, protective and cuddly. He would make a wonderful companion for the right family or person.To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
