My story

She's the rootinest tootinest cowgirl cattle dog of all: she's Cadette, our 9-year-old sweetheart! 🤠 With a heart as sparkly as her smile, it's no wonder Cadette makes friends everywhere she goes. 🥰 This small, 38lb gal loves to go on walks, whether around the neighborhood or just romping around the backyard (and yes, she'll be grinning the entire time!). Her intelligent nature shines through as she listens to what you're asking of her, whether it's snuggles for comfort or to lift your mood with her happy expressions. She is also completely housebroken! 🙌 Cadette would also prefer to be the only dog in her future home so that she may finally fully relax and get the attention she deserves in her golden years. 🐾 Cadette came to Five Acres a couple months ago with her best friend, Brienne, after their previous family could no longer care for them. 😥 Initially, we thought they needed to be placed together; but over time, we've discovered that both Cadette and Brienne are okay going to separate homes. While they have a special bond and can go together (the exception to the single-dog rule!), each of them is also ready to thrive individually and bring their unique energy to a new family. 🐾 Cadette is relaxing in foster with her sister Brienne, but she's eager to meet you and go home to start her happily-ever-after, so submit an application today to meet her soon!
