My story

Meet Cadette, the spunky 9-year-old cattle dog with a heart full of sass and spirit. Though she may be a wee thing next to her big sister Brienne, Cadette is the subtle leader between the two—she’s got all the personality and then some! Despite her age, she’s as lively as ever, with a spark that lights up any room she enters. Cadette and Brienne were surrendered to animal control together when their family could no longer care for them, and they've spent their lives side by side. Initially, we thought they needed to be placed together, but over time, we've discovered that both Cadette and Brienne are perfectly okay going to separate homes. While they have a special bond, each of them is ready to thrive individually and bring their unique energy to a new family. Though Brienne stands at 120 pounds, Cadette is the one with the most personality. She’s the one who calls the shots, always making sure things go her way, while still showering her sister with endless love and comfort. These two have always been close, but now they’re ready to find homes where they can each shine on their own. Cadette may be small in stature, but her heart is as big as they come. If you’re looking for a spunky little dog with a ton of love to give, Cadette is your girl. Whether you’re interested in adopting her on her own or Brienne, both of these wonderful dogs are ready to bring joy, energy, and unconditional love into the right home.
