He’s housebroken, does well when left loose in the home, and happily lounges in his crate when he wants some downtime. He’s lived with kids, played nicely with a resident dog, and knows how to make a house feel like a home.Rocco was recently surrendered due to challenges introducing him to a newborn, but he’s always done well with the other kids and has been gentle and protective with the children he grew up with. He may also have some mild arthritis in his back legs, so shorter walks and cozy naps are right up his alley.He’s done well with another respectful dog in the home, but cats are a no-go for Rocco. He can be protective of his space and slow to warm up to strangers, so a calm home where visitors are introduced thoughtfully would help him feel his best. He may not love nail trims, but he loves his people, and once he’s in, he’s all in.If you’re looking for a loyal companion who’s happiest curled up nearby or hanging out with his favorite people, Rocco might be the perfect match.
