My story

Apollo was so very sad to say good-bye to his family. Having been plagued by chronic ear infections, the 42-lb. milk chocolate pup with the golden eyes is quite uncomfortable. And yet he has been a wonderful guest at the noisy, chaotic shelter. He is scheduled for more medical care to fix his painful ears, but between the medicine and what will probably be a special diet for allergies the young family that included 2 other dogs and an infant had been stretched to the financial limit. Tearfully surrendering what the owners describe as a near perfect dog, they hope that 4-year-old Apollo will find another family to live out the rest of his life comfortably.
