My story

Hi, I’m Sapphire! I’m a sweet and mild-mannered kitty with the most elegant eye stripes—you could say I look like a 1920s flapper cat! I get along wonderfully with calm cats and absolutely love dogs. In fact, when I was a tiny kitten, I used to nap right on top of my foster home's dog! I’m too big for that now, but I still love curling up next to them. I can be pretty shy when meeting new people, and I like to take my time warming up. But once I do, I’m very loving and enjoy spending time with my favorite humans. At night, I like to sleep between your legs, on the bed, or somewhere nearby—I just like being close. I’m litter box trained and comfortable using both a regular box and an automatic one. When it comes to food, I’m not picky, but I do enjoy a little bit of rotisserie chicken as a treat. When I’m feeling playful, I have my fun, but most of the time, I’m happy just hanging out and relaxing.
