My story

Meet Matt!Matt is a brave soul mixed terrier pup learning to love! Matt’s first two years of life were nothing like they should have been. Neglected and abandoned in a yard with 30 other dogs, he had little human interaction, leaving him afraid of people and unsure of kindness. His situation was heartbreaking, but Matt is proving that hope is never lost.Since being rescued, Matt has made incredible progress. He’s learning that human touch isn’t scary and is even starting to enjoy affection. But he still has a journey ahead of him, and he needs a very special, patient adopter to help him continue learning how to be a dog. Other confident, friendly dogs help him come out of his shell, so a home with a dog pal would be ideal. We are so excited to watch Matt finally experience love, safety, and the joy of being spoiled. If you have the heart and patience to help this sweet boy continue to heal, Matt is ready to find his forever home and experience what true love is.
