My story

Meet Dexter - read what his foster family has to say about him. Dexter is a 5 month old 21 lb mix that kind of looks like a juggle(pug and JRT). He was rescued from a bad situation along with his siblings.  Dexter is very sweet and a little shy until he gets to know you better. Then he will become your shadow companion.  He is very good on the leash. Dexter is very comfortable in the home, the car and in his crate.  He is excellent with going potty outside when kept on a regular schedule. He is very good with the dog in his foster home. Loves to throw around toys especially the squeaky kind.  He will sleep through the night in his crate from around 8pm to 6am.  He is very treat motivated and has mastered sit, no, and we are working on off and come. He loves to lay in the sun on the deck and watch the birds and me do yard work.  He is an energetic puppy and will need regular exercise. Dexter would be good in a home with another dog to play with or as an only dog with an active family that will go on adventures and provide him with a lot of exercise/regular walks. He does love our fenced yard as likes to explore and sniff so a fenced yard is a plus but not required. Dexter is a very smart puppy. Dexter is now neutered, up to date with vaccines and microchipped. His adoption fee is $450.00.
