My story

Hi there, my name is Dasher. I am an old guy that was a stray running around for a little over a week until I was finally live trapped. I know how to sit so I was owned by someone before, but sadly I had no chip and no collar. The vet gave me a clean bill of health and said I am estimated to be 6 years old. I am a big strong guys so a home with kids alittle older would be ideal due to my size and age. I would also do best in a home with NO other animals that way I can live out the last half of my life getting all the love i have missed out on ( I am also just not a fan of other animals) \. Please give an old guy a chance and give me a place to retire.An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.Cats and kittens are a donation of choice.
