My story

Frankie is a sweet, 7-year-old, 55-pound girl who has come such a long way since arriving at her foster home—and she continues to amaze us every day! From a shy, uncertain pup to a loving, loyal companion, Frankie has blossomed into a calm, affectionate dog who’s ready for her forever home.She quickly mastered the doggy door and hasn’t had a single accident or shown any destructive behavior. Frankie also has excellent house manners—she free-roams while her foster is at work with no issues, and she’s so quiet she hasn’t barked once! She’s also food-mannered, knows “sit” and “down,” and adores car rides and walks.Frankie gets along great with calmer dogs like her foster siblings, Kasey and Lucy, and would do well as part of a laid-back pack—or as your one and only. She does like her personal time with her person, so she’d prefer a home where she can be the top dog in someone’s heart. She’s also learning to “share the love” and is beginning to enjoy playtime too!Where she used to run and hide, Frankie is now learning to trust, listen, and explore the world with confidence. She’s not food aggressive, has never had an accident, and continues to grow emotionally every day.And the best part? If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
