My story

Say hello to Chum Chum! This cheerful boy came to AHS in February 2025 as a stray and is ready to find a home he can call his very own! Chum Chum has been a little shy since moving down to our adoption floor but is slowly coming back out of his shell. He enjoys gentle pets to his head and enjoys ear scratches even more! While it takes him a moment to warm up to new people, Chum Chum still has plenty of love to give. This curious boy loves to observe most things before diving into playing or greeting his human friends and has become a huge fan of cat trees and other high spots because of that. He has been having a blast playing with catnip toys and any toys with feathers have been a big hit with him! Chum Chum is quick to make friends with other cats and would love a kitty pal in his forever home! An additional kitty to snuggle with may help Chum Chum gain some confidence and even possibly bring him out of his shell even more. Any potential children friend(s) in Chum Chum's forever home will need to understand that he may need a moment to adjust if the change in environment really upsets him, but other than that, we think he would be perfectly fine in a home with children! Stop in and visit with Chum Chum if he sounds like the kitty for you! He and his adorable nose spots would love a chance to meet you. Chum Chum is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.
