Name: Robin Sparkles Breed: Chihuahua Mix Sex: Spayed Female Age: 11 years Weight: 8.5 lbs Good with dogs? Yes! Robin Sparkles gets along well with respectful, calm dogs who don’t jump on her or invade her space. Good with cats? Yes, she’s totally fine with feline companions. Good with kids? Robin has done well meeting gentle children and would thrive in a calm home with little ones who understand her need for peace and quiet. Energy level: Very low overall—she’s a nap queen! But don’t let her fool you—this little lady still gets the zoomies and loves to play with toys when the mood strikes. Medical/behavioral needs: Robin Sparkles has IVDD (intervertebral disc disease), which causes some weakness in her back legs. Because of this, she needs a safe home where she won’t be jumped on or allowed to leap off furniture. She takes a few inexpensive pain medications that help keep her comfortable—less than $25 a month. Animal Characteristics: Robin Sparkles is a sweet-as-can-be love bug with a gentle soul and a heart full of snuggles. Though she’s a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly and becomes incredibly loyal to her chosen human. She’s always kind to everyone she meets and is a perfectly chill companion at coffee shops, breweries, and stores—just tuck her into a cozy carrier or lap and she’ll happily soak in the scene. Though she’s a senior gal, Robin still has a playful sparkle in her eye. She’ll surprise you with bursts of zoomies and happily entertain herself with toys. She’s looking for a quiet, loving forever home where she can feel safe, adored, and cherished—and give all that love right back.
