?? Meet Joseph – “JD” the Gentle Snugglebug! ??Looking for a loyal companion who’s as happy on a walk as he is curled up at your feet? Joseph—affectionately known as JD—might just be your perfect match!This handsome pup is dog- and kid-friendly (he currently lives with a toddler and a large lab) and did wonderfully at a temporary foster home with older kids and a variety of other dogs. JD is house-trained, crate-trained, and already learning basic commands—he’s mastered “sit” and is picking up more every day, thanks to his food motivation (don’t worry—he’s not food aggressive!).JD has great manners and won’t get on furniture unless invited. He enjoys a good sniff-and-stroll outdoors just as much as lounging around for a lazy nap indoors. He’s affectionate and adores ear scratches and snuggles, often dozing off contentedly with his head in your lap.JD is an easygoing guy but still has some young-dog energy—he’s working on curbing his enthusiasm when he gets excited (a little jumpy and mouthy at times, but improving every day).He’s a brave boy overall, but loud, unexpected sounds—like our toddler’s noisy toys or a strong thunderstorm—can still catch him off guard. A calm home with plenty of love (and a few cozy corners) would be ideal for this sensitive sweetheart.JD has been a wonderful foster, and he’s ready for his forever home!
