My story

Breed - Domestic Short Hair Spayed Female Weight - About 6-7 lbs Estimated Age - 9 months as of early March If you are interested in adopting this cat, please fill out our cat adoption questionnaire at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HTAR/Cat. For questions, email kelseym@homewardtrails.org. HOW TO MEET THIS CAT: You can meet Meg and Chris at Crumbs and Whiskers, DC's first cat cafe. To book an appointment, check out their website: www.crumbsandwhiskers.com. LOCATION: Crumbs & Whiskers, 3109 M St NW, Washington, DC ADOPTION COORDINATOR: Kelsey, kelseym@homewardtrails.org ADOPTION FEE: $360 for the pair ($180 each). This fee INCLUDES neuter, vaccines, and microchip. Ask us about our many adoption benefits that include free exams, pet insurance, and other discounts! HOW THIS ANIMAL IS WITH: CATS: Meg is good with other cats and must be adopted with her brother, Chris. DOGS: We're not sure how Meg is with dogs. KIDS: Meg is a little shy, so would prefer a home with no kids or older kids who can move slow around her. KNOWN LIKES: Chasing her toys, cuddling with her brother, curling up in a comfy cat bed. KNOWN DISLIKES: Being picked up, loud noises, sudden movements. ABOUT THIS ANIMAL: Chris and Meg are two playful older kittens. They love chasing toys, cuddling with each other and getting treats. They are shy to start, so are looking for a patient family who will let them warm up and feel comfortable. Meg gains confidence from her brother and will start purring when he signals to her all is safe. She likes pets, but can be spooked by sudden movements. She must be adopted with her brother, Chris. HT ADOPTION INCLUDES: Spay/Neuter A series of FVRCP vaccines, rabies vaccine (if old enough), and deworming Microchip - lifetime registration with no fees EXCLUSIVE ADOPTER BENEFITS: Free physical exam with Caring Hands Animal Hospital, Palisades Veterinary Clinic, Jermantown Animal Hospital and Clarendon Animal Care within 30 days of adoption and all VCA Animal Hospitals (VCA offers $250 coverage - details provided) within 14 days of adoption. A portion of EVERY ADOPTION fee supports spay/neuter for animals in under-resourced communities BE A FOSTER: Save a life: http://www.homewardtrails.org/foster-a-pet/dog-and-cat-foster-program.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Meg, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
