Chili

My story

Chili is a small scruffy terrier mix who was being surrendered with his two siblings (Paprika and Curry) at the San Bernadino shelter in January 2025 where we were able to offer a helping hand and take them in ourselves. Their owners said that they were sweet pups that they just couldn't take care of anymore. While his siblings Paprika and Curry have since been adopted, Chili is still waiting for his forever home. They are lovingly named the "spicy pups" as they were scared and afraid in their initial transition of being surrendered by their owners. With lots of love, patience, and training with us since January, Chili is ready to find his person. Chili would do best in a quiet home with someone who has experience with rescues who are scared and who can offer patience. He would likely do best in a home with no kids and either as the only dog, or with a dog whose calm and mellow. Chili seems to prefer women, and thinks that men are sometimes scary.
