My story
Ares was rescued from a kill shelter in CA by a private party. They then rejected Ares off of transport. Following is the write up by the volunteers who know him the best. šAres leashes up fine and walks OK on the leash but definitely some room for improvement there. Upon returning to his kennel he walked right in and just stood there for me to take his leash off.ā£ļø He has a perfect sit and loves posing for pics. His dog tests went well he seemed relaxed around them and OK with sharing space. Likely best match with other calm dogs.šPlease allow slow intros to resident dogs for success. That means weeks to months not hours to days.š
