My story

Here’s Velvet! She is a one year old female cat with such a sleek, soft coat and a quiet demeanor reflected in her name! Velvet and her brother were rescued as kittens and cared for by a loving family. This family was unable to keep them long term, so they asked for HART’s help. Velvet is quite content with sharing her space with another cat. She is on the timid side, but is won over quickly with an offered treat and a gentle touch. All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative. If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application available at www.rescueahart.org/adopt/cat-application. The application will put you in touch with a HART volunteer.
