Meet Coraline: A Sweet Dilute Tortie Looking for a Fresh StartCoraline is a 4-year-old dilute tortie who’s ready to leave behind her past and embrace a loving, safe home. For much of her life, Coraline was fed and lived in a basement, with little interaction with people. That changed when her landlord threatened to put her outside because cats weren't allowed in the building. Thankfully, Coraline is now safe and on her way to finding the forever home she’s always deserved.At first, Coraline is a bit scared and unsure of new things, but with a little patience, she’s starting to warm up to human kindness. She’s getting more comfortable with her new environment and is slowly realizing that humans can be a source of love and safety. While she may need some time to fully trust, Coraline has a quiet, sweet demeanor that shows she has so much potential for a loving bond.If you have a gentle heart and the patience to help Coraline adjust, she’ll reward you with affection and companionship as she grows more confident in her new home. Therefore, CT Cat Connection has a policy that kittens ​and teenagers up to 12 months of age are adopted in pairs unless there is another animal in the household as a playmate and companion.Due to demand, we cannot place cats or kittens on hold. Your visit to the shelter is to meet any cat or kitten available for adoption at the time of visit.If you or anyone you know is interested in helping the shelter, we are always looking for foster families of our cats and dogs, as well as in-person volunteers, to assist with animal care.
