My story

If you are seriously interested in an animal, we ask that you first fill out an application, tailsofrescue.org  This will be the first step to gaining more information about the animal as well as allow us to know a little bit about you.   Meet Bison: Your Future Best Friend Bison is a sweet and gentle Chihuahua blend, weighing just 8.8 pounds. At around four years old, this tender-hearted boy is ready to find a forever home where he can truly thrive. His story is one of resilience—he came to us as a stray and was adopted into a loving home, where he did wonderfully with his canine friend. But when life circumstances changed, Bison found himself back with us, and now he’s looking for a second chance at happiness. Bison is a little shy at first but warms up beautifully with patience and love. He’s been with us for a few months and is slowly coming out of his shell. He’ll do best in a calm, adult home where he can fully decompress and feel safe. He gets along well with other dogs, especially smaller ones, and will make a loyal and loving companion for the right person. Bison is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on his vaccines—he’s all ready to meet you! If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle soul to bring joy and warmth into your life, Bison might just be the perfect match. Could you be the one to give him the loving home he deserves? Spayed/Neuiterd, micro chipped, heartworm negative (if of age), dhpp shots, kennel cough vacs., and one year rabies is completed.  Adoption fee is $150.00  We are NOT a first-come-first to adopt a rescue, the best fit for the family and dog is the way we do things.  We do out of town adoptions often, but will not ship animals must come to Redding for pick up.   ##1940701##
