Downton

My story

Downton is an affectionate 11 lb, 9 years young, healthy senior who has lived in a loving and well cared for home his whole life! He is a loving lap dog extradinaire, reliably housebroken to peepads, crate trained, walks great on a leash, sleeps through the night, has lived with other dogs, and only wants to be near his human. Will be a wonderful companion. Adoption fee for this senior is $250 PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. The adoption fee is $250, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped. Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment. ($15 additional donation to cover costs if credit card used)
